It is a legal requirement to undertake a risk assessment of any new tasks as defined by The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. SDR Projects operates the industry recognised format of a traffic light system and visual aids for all of its risk assessments.

Method statements are detailed and are agreed with the customer before any work is undertaken. The planning of the method statement not only allows safe working but it also shows any shortfalls in the work process. This can also be used along with the project schedule.

All of SDR's staff operating equipment has been proven competent by ongoing training and instruction. SDR staff hold the following safety credentials:
